Based in San Francisco, Stephanie Fujii is a member of the firm’s Nonprofit Sector, with a special emphasis on social impact and innovation across educational, cultural, social justice and philanthropic organizations. She is also a member of the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Practice.
Stephanie conducts and advises leadership searches for Chief Executive Officers and functional senior roles including Chief Financial Officers. Her recent clients include Bishop Museum, Carnegie Mellon University, College Futures Foundation, Planned Parenthood of Northern California, The Presidio Trust, Rocketship Education, the University of Pittsburgh, and the University of Oregon.
Stephanie joined the firm from Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, where she served as the inaugural Assistant Dean for the Full-time MBA Program and Admissions. In that role, Stephanie led the school’s efforts on the Berkeley leadership brand, and worked with students and faculty to create a more diverse and inclusive community and culture. Stephanie’s contribution to the program led them to rank in the Top 10 of all major business school rankings. She gained over a decade of experience evaluating, selecting and developing future leaders.
Earlier in her career, Stephanie was a consultant at Mercer, where she focused on executive and board compensation primarily for technology companies. She began her career at Etec Systems, Inc. where she initially worked in human resources and then later transitioned into product marketing.
Stephanie most recently served on the board of Kokoro Assisted Living, Inc. as Chair of the Nominating Committee. She has been involved with Kokoro since 2005.
Stephanie holds a B.A. in cultural anthropology from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
