Robert Voth


Robert Voth co-leads the firm’s global Consumer & Commercial Financial Services Practice, based in Chicago. His engagements cover global money centers, regional and community banks, and credit unions, as well as digital payments, special consumer finance, transaction processing, PE/VC and the world’s leading consultancies. As a trusted client advisor, Robert works closely with leading companies to recruit for and advise on Board, CEO, President and leadership and succession projects. He also advises on the full range of corporate center and senior product and distribution functions within consumer, commercial, treasury, compliance, operations, marketing, product, payments and all things digital.

Recent client work has included the successful recruitment of CEOs and board members for US banks, a credit union and industry-leading specialty consumer finance organizations. He has also partnered with prestigious global consulting firms to identify and recruit direct-admit Partner and AP-level consultants.

Previous Experience


Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Robert spent more than 18 years in senior leadership roles within the search industry. He led his previous firm’s quality initiatives program and served on their technology committee. Robert successfully filled Board, CEO, CMO, President, General Manager and other senior-level functional and business unit executive positions throughout North America and Europe. Robert began his career in education prior to joining the search industry.

Education & Affiliations


Robert received a BA in history from Kenyon College in Ohio. He serves on the Board of the Make-A-Wish Foundation for Ohio, Kentucky and Indiana, as well as Rugby Ohio.
