Lawrence Kenny focuses on senior executive search and leadership and assessment assignments in the Technology Sector. He also co-leads the firm's Business and Professional Services Practice. Based in Atlanta, Lawrence has recruited CEOs, CFOs and board members for public companies and has worked for clients across a range of roles in the consulting, systems integration, and BPO and outsourcing industries.
Recent Client Experience
Lawrence's recent assignments include the recruitment of a COO for a global provider of outsourced customer relationship management services, the CFO of a major global information services company, and multiple senior roles for a leading global consulting services provider. For a PE-owned global software company, Lawrence led the assessment of the company’s top 28 executives across all functions and regions and also led a CEO succession project for the board of a leading information services company. Lawrence has also recently conducted searches to recruit board members with specific industry and board committee backgrounds for numerous public companies across a variety of industries.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2007, Lawrence spent 25 years in management consulting with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, PwC Consulting and IBM Global Services, where he was the general manager of their global telecommunications industry business. In this role, he frequently met with the most senior executives across the industry and also consulted with key suppliers to the telecommunications industry. Lawrence joined IBM through its acquisition of PricewaterhouseCoopers' consulting division, where he was the global telecoms leader.
Additional Professional Activities
Lawrence is the past president of the board of Camp Twin Lakes and is actively involved in numerous other non-profit organizations.
Lawrence received his H.N.D. in finance and accounting from Napier College, Edinburgh, and is a member of the Scottish Institute of Chartered Accountants.
