Heather Hammond Co-Leads the Global Private Equity Practice for Russell Reynolds. She leads executive searches for funds and their portfolio companies, including investment leaders, senior fundraising professionals, value creation leaders, business development and capital markets professionals, operating partners and advisors. She is also a senior member of the Global Banking and Markets Practice and conducts a broad range of senior-level searches across the financial services industry.

Heather has almost 20 years of C-suite and board search, assessment and talent advisory experience, during which time she has worked to recruit for a range of senior executive roles within her areas of expertise, advising clients of all sizes and geographies.

She previously led the firm's New York and Stamford operations for seven years and was a member of the global Executive Committee.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Heather spent her career at Morgan Stanley in Corporate Finance, Debt Capital Markets and in Equity Research on the Global Automotive team, ranked the top Automotive Equity Research team by Institutional Investor magazine. She also worked in the Global Capital Markets Group at Goldman Sachs.

Heather received her BA in economics from Smith College and her MBA, with concentrations in finance and strategy, from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management. She served on the US steering committee of the 30% Club and is a previous board director of the Robert Toigo Foundation. Heather has been featured and published on talent-related subjects in a range of media outlets, including CNN, Bloomberg, USA Today and Buyouts magazine.
