Chris Davis is a member of the firm’s Financial Services Practice and co-leads the Digital Practice. He is a senior advisor to clients in the Financial Services, Fintech and Private Equity industries, where he conducts C-level executive and board assignments for industry-leading clients. Chris splits his time between the firm’s Toronto and New York offices.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Chris worked at McKinsey & Company in London and Toronto, where he was an Associate Partner and leader of the Financial Service, Technology and Digital Practices. He led client engagements across North America and Europe, focused on developing customer-centric growth strategies. He also played an active role in driving the firm's knowledge agenda and won McKinsey’s ‘Distinctive Knowledge Leadership Award’. Previously, Chris held various marketing/distribution roles at DundeeWealth (now part of Scotiabank).
Chris has authored numerous articles for industry journals such as the Harvard Business Review, McKinsey Quarterly and Forbes, and has presented at conferences on a variety of topics. He is also a regular media commentator on business trends for various news outlets, including the Financial Times, The Times, CNBC Business, Standard & Poor's (S&P), and the BBC television and radio news.
Chris received his Bachelor of Commerce in finance from Queen's University and his Bachelor’s/Master’s, Law from the University of Oxford.
