Stuart G. Guthrie

Stuart Guthrie is the Area Manager for the Dallas office and co-leads the firm’s clean technology practice in the Americas. He is also a member of the Chemical and Process Industries and CEO and Board Services practices. Stuart has conducted numerous board director, CEO, senior general management, and functional leadership assignments for leading chemical, packaging, building products, advanced materials, and downstream and renewable energy clients. He has also co-led several large executive assessment engagements.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1999, Stuart worked for 14 years in the chemical industry, most recently as a General Manager of a specialty chemical business for Solvay America. Previously, he progressed through a series of sales, marketing and general management roles with Tenneco and its successor, Solvay America. He was extensively engaged in international business development.

Additional Professional Activities

Stuart is the Past Chair of the Dallas Arts District Alliance Board and a member of Leadership Dallas.

Education

Stuart received his B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida and his M.B.A. from the Daniels College of Business, University of Denver.
