Seema Kathuria

Seema Kathuria's expertise spans all aspects of executive leadership, including experience identifying direct reports to the CEO and CFO across corporate functions including finance, communications, corporate strategy, marketing and sales.  Based in Chicago, she is a member of the firm's Consumer Products and Services, Leisure and Hospitality, Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Practices.

Recent Client Experience

Seema's recent assignments within the consumer industry include working closely with the CFO of a major global consumer packaged goods organization who is rebuilding his finance team to recruit their Senior Vice President, FP&A and Controller.  She also recently conducted an assignment for a Fortune 50 company for their Global Head of Internal Communications to centralize and rebuild their internal communications practice across 150,000 employees. 

Previous Experience

Seema previously was the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development at Vimani.  Prior to that, Seema was a Senior Engagement Manager at CSC.  There, she managed client engagements across mergers and acquisitions (due diligence through post-merger integration), financial feasibility assessments, growth/turnaround strategy, channel management, product portfolio planning, sales force analysis and performance improvement.  Her career before that included marketing and strategy roles at Pfizer and Ford Motor Company.

Additional Professional Activities

Seema serves on the Women's Board of Brookfield Zoo and The Service Club of Chicago. She is a member of the Union League Club of Chicago.

Education

Seema received her B.A. in political science and economics from Purdue University. She received her M.B.A. in finance and strategy from the University of Chicago.
