Rafael Yturbe

Rafael Yturbe is the firm's Country Manager for Mexico. Based in Mexico City, he conducts senior executive searches for Mexican and multinational corporations in the consumer and industrial sectors. With solid experience in cross-border searches, Rafael has completed several high-profile searches for presidents, CEOs and country managers for large corporations in Mexico and Latin America.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1995, Rafael worked in the publishing industry, first as Vice President of Marketing and Sales of Grupo Editorial Expansión and then as CEO of the publishing group he created, Grupo Editorial Patria, one of the largest in Mexico. He began his professional career in consumer products, working in sales and marketing for Colgate Palmolive and Empacadora Buffalo in Mexico.

Education

Rafael received his B.A. in business administration from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City, and his M.B.A. in international business from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management, in Arizona. He is fluent in Spanish and English and has a working knowledge of French.
