Nils Hopmann

Based in Hamburg, Nils conducts executive search assignments for clients in the pharmaceuticals, generics, health-services, and medical technology industries. He also works with clients on senior HR roles across a range of sectors.

Recent Client Experience

Nils' recent assignments in the healthcare sector include the recruitment of several senior commercial and marketing profiles for pharmaceutical companies, general managers for specialized MedTec firms as well as the GM for a large public hospital. Outside the healthcare industry, Nils has been in charge of recruitment for significant HR functions including talent management and C&B.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Nils was a member of the management team at GE Healthcare International, where he led the service business in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. He was also involved in acquisitions and the integration processes that followed. Before that, he served as managing director with GE's former IT Solutions Europe business and held several leadership roles in sales, services, and internal consulting (including Six Sigma experience).

Education

Nils received his MBA (Diplom Kaufmann) from the University of Passau. He is fluent in English and German and has a working knowledge of French.
