Brian Kasser

Brian Kasser co-leads the firm's Software Practice. He also conducts senior executive and board assignments for clients in the global technology and financial services industries. His clients include publicly traded and venture-funded technology companies, with a focus on CEO and Board level assignments as well as senior-level sales, financial, corporate development and marketing functions. His financial services clients include leading private investment and investment banking firms which specialize in the technology sector. Brian is based in our Palo Alto office.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Brian was a senior corporate finance professional in the Investment Banking industry in both New York and San Francisco. He has worked at Salomon Brothers, Lehman Brothers and Thomas Weisel Partners, where he had joined TWP at the firm's inception in early 1999. Over that last decade, Brian has had an extensive background in public and private capital raising activity as well as M&A advisory work for both Fortune 500 and emerging growth companies in a wide range of industry sectors. He began his professional career, prior to Business School, as a consultant within the Change Management Strategy group at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), focusing on the technology, healthcare and manufacturing industries.

Education

Brian received his undergraduate B.A. degree in economics from Vanderbilt University, and his M.B.A. in finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
