Anita Belani

Anita Belani is the firm's Country Manager for India, responsible for the Mumbai and New Delhi offices. She specializes in assignments across the Financial Services & Diversified Industrials sectors, leveraging her extensive human capital and consulting background to provide strategic leadership solutions for her clients. She is also responsible for CEO / Board assignments and specializes in the Private Equity / Venture Capital area.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Anita was with Right Management as the Country Head for India. Her areas of expertise included helping clients solve their business issues through human capital solutions in such areas as change management, restructuring, organizational effectiveness, succession planning, leadership development and talent management. Prior to joining Right Management, she was Country Head for Watson Wyatt India and was responsible for building a successful human capital consulting brand for the organization.

Anita previously has worked with Sun Microsystems in San Francisco as a Senior HR Business Partner in charge of strategic global HR. Prior to that, she was in a senior business partner role with KPMG in the USA and was instrumental in building the India operations of Jardine Fleming. Anita has also worked with American Express earlier in her career.

Education

Anita received her M.B.A. with specialization in human resources from the XLRI, Jamshedpur. She a received her B.A. in economics from University of Delhi and is a Certified Executive Coach.
