Toby Crosthwaite is based in Singapore and focuses on banking and insurance in the Asia/Pacific region. Toby has successfully worked on a range of high-profile C-suite assignments in Asia/Pacific for regional and international clients. Toby has a strong product expertise in risk, financial officers, insurance and investment banking.

Recent Client Experience

Toby has a strong track record in advising on risk-related assignments for various financial services clients at the CRO level in group risk, wholesale, consumer, operational and market risk. He has worked with insurance and banking clients on various high-profile regional and global CFO/financial officer assignments. In insurance Toby has placed a number of regional and country CEOs in Asia Pacific as well as other insurance leadership roles. Toby's recent assignments in investment banking include senior leadership roles in capital markets and corporate finance at a regional and country level in Asia.

Previous Experience

Toby has more than 12 years of executive search experience and held leadership roles in Asia for more than ten years. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Toby ran the Asia/Pacific business of another search firm, conducting assignments in investment banking and capital markets. He began his career as a Financial Futures and Options Broker with FIMAT Futures U.K. Ltd. (Société Générale Group).

Education

Toby received his B.A., with honours, in economics and political development from Exeter University.
