Recent Client Experience

Thomas has recently worked on the recruitment of members of the board for a leading aircraft leasing company, the CEO of a newly established aircraft financing company and the Chief Technical Officer for a leading international airline. Moreover he has collaborated with  the supervisory boards of large international and German utility providers in the recruitment of CEOs, CFOs, and Chief Sales & Marketing Officers. He also has conducted an important leadership assessment in the renewable energy sector which led to a new organisational structure. He has also conducted CFO assignments across different sectors and worked for management consultancies in partner-level recruitment.

Previous Experience

Thomas started his career as a strategy consultant within Gemini Consulting in Berlin and moved to help set-up a strategy consultancy in Frankfurt, where he became head of both its strategy and aviation industry practice. Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, he held an executive position within the LTU Group - one of Germany's leading airlines - as Managing Director of LTU Aircraft Maintenance.

Education

Thomas studied physics and mathematics at the University of Hamburg and received his Ph.D. in theoretical physics. He is fluent in German, Greek and English.
