Stig Niemann Christensen

Stig Christensen serves national and international clients in the consumer sector and also conducts senior level searches within financial services. Furthermore, he specializes in all types of senior commercial executive positions as well as executive assessment across sectors.

Recent Client Experience

Stig has recently solved senior executive assignments including a CEO search for a large Nordic pension provider, CEO and CFO searches for major Danish food and retail companies and various searches for senior international sales and marketing executives for global companies with Danish based headquarters. He has also been involved in several international executive assessment assignments within banking and large private equity owned companies.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Stig was a Co-Owner and Managing Director of a consulting and training company. Before this, he spent 17 years with the Carlsberg Group in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland and France, where he held different senior commercial and general management positions also serving as Managing Director for the Carlsberg subsidiary in Paris. His most recent position at Carlsberg was Vice President, Sales for Carlsberg Denmark A/S.

Education

Stig received his B.Sc. in marketing from the Copenhagen Business School and his European E-M.B.A. in international business from EAP-European School of Management (today ESCP), Paris. He is fluent in Danish, English and French and is conversational in German as well as the Scandinavian languages.
