Steve Morse leads the firm's Energy/Natural Resources Practice in the Americas. Based in Houston, he specializes in serving clients in the oil and gas, power and clean technology industries, and has extensive experience identifying CEOs, COOs, CTOs and human capital leaders for leading organizations. Steve counsels clients ranging from global integrated oil and gas companies to pre-commercial start-ups, many of which involve private equity investors.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 2004, Steve was a Managing Director at the Corporate Executive Board, a best practices consulting firm, for four years. There, he advised Fortune 500 companies in the energy and technology industries. Before that, Steve was with Enron Corporation and Koch Industries, where he gained extensive experience in corporate development, strategy and general management.

Additional Professional Activities

Steve is a member of the Board of Directors of the Alley Theatre.

Education

Steve received his B.A. in political science from Emory University and his M.B.A. from the University of Florida.
