Richard C. Perkey

Rich Perkey is a member of the firm's CEO and Board Services Practice. In addition to directing CEO and Board of Director searches for leading organizations in the financial services, healthcare, insurance, information services, and consumer products sectors, he focuses on Chief Executive Officer Succession Planning. While at Russell Reynolds Associates, Rich has conducted a number of significant projects in the industry, including Board of Director searches for AGL Resources and Primerica. He has also conducted CEO assignments for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, Crawford & Company, Equifax, Grady Health System, Visa USA, Washington Trust Bancorp, and the Federal Home Loan Banks of Boston, Indianapolis, and Pittsburgh, respectively.

Previous Experience

Rich has over 20 years of experience in the executive search industry and joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 2002. Rich has served as the Area Manager for the Atlanta office of Russell Reynolds Associates, as well as the Practice Leader for Consumer Financial Services. Prior to entering the executive search industry in 1991, Rich was with First Union Corporation, in the Florida General Banking Group, as well as the organization's Corporate Human Resources Division.

Additional Professional Activities

Rich is a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the Board of Visitors of Davidson College, and the Board of Directors of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.

Education

Rich received his B.A. in economics from Davidson College.
