Peter Drummond-Hay

Peter Drummond-Hay is a member of the firm's Global Development Practice and conducts senior management and board of director searches more broadly.  He is also a member of the Executive Assessment Practice, assisting clients in succession management and in the assessment of their leadership teams.  He is the firm's Area Manager for New York. In earlier roles, Peter led the firm's business in Europe, Canada and Latin America. He was a leader of the Financial Services Sector and started and led the Business and Professional Services Practice and the Executive Assessment Practice.

Previous Experience

Peter has more than 25 years of executive search and assessment experience. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1982, Peter was with the London-based merchant bank Arbuthnot Latham & Co., where he served as Director and Senior Vice President of Arbuthnot Export Services, Inc. Previously, he spent five years in London and New York with Balfour Williamson & Company Ltd., a London-based subsidiary of Lloyds Bank International.

Additional Professional Activities

Peter is a trustee of the University of St. Andrews American Foundation, a Director of British American Business Inc., and a member of the U.S. Board of Restless Development. He is a former board member of the British-American Chamber of Commerce and the New Canaan Country School.
