Pedro Goenaga

Pedro Goenaga is the firm's Country Manager for Spain, which includes the Madrid and Barcelona offices. He conducts Board of Director assignments for leading organisations as well as working on senior executive assignments for international and domestic clients in the consumer, financial services and private equity sectors. Pedro also has considerable experience in conducting executive assessments for a range of clients in Spain and internationally. He also has strong links to Latin America.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1998, Pedro served as General Manager and Member of the Board of Gespalets, S.A. (GKN-Chep Group) for three years. Previously, he was Investment Director at the private equity firm, Axis, Participaciones Empresariales, S.A. (BBVA) for six years and was a board member of 18 companies in the distribution, food, packaging and telecommunications industries. Before that, Pedro worked as an executive consultant at Arthur D. Little, mainly in the communications, leisure and tourism sectors.

Education

Pedro received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Deusto and his M.B.A. from IESE, which included a semester at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is fluent in Spanish, English and French.
