Paul Zellner

Paul focuses on senior-level executive search and assessment assignments for clients in the business services, outsourcing, management consulting, and technology services industries.  These search and assessment projects involve a broad range of corporate functions including CEO, COO and President positions. 

Recent Client Experience

Paul's recent assignments within the business services sector include working with the board of a leading publicly held customer service company to recruit a CEO.  He has also led the recruitment of the CEO for one of the world's leading HR consulting and outsourcing businesses.  Within the professional services industry, Paul has recently conducted a leadership assessment of the top 50 high potential partners within a "Big 4" firm.

Previous Experience

Paul has more than 20 years of executive recruiting experience and joined Russell Reynolds Associates in 1999.  Before his career in executive search, Paul was Controller of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and Region Operations Manager for American Hospital Supply Company.  Paul began his career at Price Waterhouse & Co. (now PricewaterhouseCoopers).

Paul is a member of the Northwestern J.L. Kellogg School Advisory Board.

Education

Paul received his B.B.A., magna cum laude, from Loyola University of Chicago and his M.M., with distinction, from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management.  Paul is a Certified Public Accountant.
