Monica Rossi Gorno

Monica Rossi Gorno works with clients in the retail, fashion and consumer product industries to identify leading talent for their organizations. She also assists several Italian private equity funds in the recruiting of CEOs for their portfolio companies. Based in Milan, she leverages her significant industry and advisory background to provide her clients with insight and guidance as they assemble the best leadership teams.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, she was a Partner with another leading executive search firm, where she focused on a broad range of searches within the retail, fashion and luxury, and consumer sectors. Before her career in executive search, Monica worked for five years at Giorgio Armani's headquarters in several management capacities, ultimately as Operations Coordination and Licensing Director. Her earlier career includes extensive consulting experience with McKinsey & Company in Milan and Arthur Andersen in Washington, D.C. While at McKinsey & Company, she specialised in the fashion and luxury sector, leading several strategic and organisation projects for the main Italian players within the industry.

Education

Monica received her LAUREA degree in economics and business, with honours, from the University of Florence. She is fluent in English and speaks some French in addition to her native Italian.
