Monica Lagercrantz Midby

Based in Stockholm, Monica Lagercrantz Midby focuses on chief executive, chairman, non-executive director and other key position searches in the Nordic and international markets. She also conducts senior-level searches for financial institutions with special emphasis on private equity/venture capital, investment banking, global banking and investment management. She has managed and co-managed a number of executive assessment/human capital due diligence assignments for Scandinavian clients.

Monica's recent board work includes numerous chairman and non-executive director recruitments to listed industrial companies and wholesale banks as well as to private equity-backed companies.

Previous Experience

Monica has more than 15 years of international executive recruiting experience. She joined Russell Reynolds Associates from another premier search firm in 2003 as Area Manager, responsible for establishing and managing the Stockholm office. Prior to her executive search career, she was a corporate lawyer in Sweden and the United States, working mainly with the legal aspects of securities, finance and investments.

Education

Monica received her M.Sc. in business and public law from the University of Gothenburg and her LL.M. from the University of Stockholm. She speaks English, Italian and the Scandinavian languages.
