Mauro Gimenez

Based in Houston, Mauro Gimenez counsels clients within the Industrial/Natural Resources sector, with particular focus on global energy assignments.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Mauro was with McKinsey & Company for six years, most recently as an Associate Partner. At McKinsey, he worked across the upstream and downstream businesses with international and national oil companies, independent refiners and service companies as well as electric utilities, helping them develop business growth, forward-thinking strategies, manage large capital projects and achieve operational improvements.  Previously, Mauro held Sales Territory Manager and Strategic Planning Advisor roles at Exxon Mobil Fuels Marketing, where he managed retail client relationships, coordinated regional business plans and developed affiliate strategies.

Education

Mauro received his B.S. in chemical engineering from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina, and his M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
