Kurt B. Harrison
Kurt Harrison leads the firm's Asset and Wealth Management Practice in the Americas, in addition to being a senior member of the firm's Global Banking and Markets Practice. Based in New York, he specializes in providing high-level client solutions across the capital markets spectrum, with particular emphasis on global equity, fixed income, commodity, and currency markets.
Previous Experience
Kurt has more than 20 years of experience in the markets, with a particular expertise in fixed income. Most recently, Kurt was a Managing Director, Head of U.S. Interest Rate Sales with Nomura Securities International in New York. Previously, Kurt was with Banc of America Securities as their Global Head of U.S. Treasury Trading, where he led the rebuild of their New York franchise. Subsequently, he was able to successfully leverage his extensive client contacts as the Global Head of U.S. Treasury & Agency Sales. Prior to Banc of America Securities, Kurt spent 13 years at Lehman Brothers in New York. There, he was active across the fixed income platform, gaining valuable trading experience in mortgage-backed securities, money markets and short-term credit, as well as U.S. Treasury and Agency debt. Kurt began his career as an Analyst with JP Morgan.
Additional Professional Activities
Kurt is a member of the Benefactors Society Board of the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Virginia. He also serves on the Board of the Bedford (NY) Historical Society.
Education
Kurt received his B.A. in international relations from the University of Virginia.
