Kimberly Archer focuses on senior executive search assignments primarily within the not-for-profit sector.  She recruits senior leadership, including CEOs and COOs as well as heads of policy/advocacy, communications and marketing for a wide variety of organizations including foundations, think tanks, non-governmental organizations, cultural institutions, advocacy organizations and trade and professional associations.  Kimberly is located in Washington, D.C.

Recent Client Experience

Kimberly's recent assignments within the not-for-profit sector include working closely with several environmental and conservation organizations recruiting both organizational leadership and program experts. In addition, she has conducted several communications and government affairs assignments for healthcare-focused associations, international NGOs, academic and corporate clients in the energy sector.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Kimberly served as a Vice President of Strategic Partnerships and Development at the American Legacy Foundation, the nation's largest public health foundation solely dedicated to tobacco cessation. There, she worked to secure both public and private sector partnerships and launched cause-related marketing efforts to generate revenue and raise awareness in support of the foundation's programmatic initiatives. Previously, Kimberly worked for Avon Products, Inc. and was responsible for the communications and marketing of the company's flagship and first retail venture in New York City. Earlier, Kimberly held several public relations roles within Federated Department Stores - Bloomingdale's.

Additional Professional Activities

Kimberly serves on the board of directors of Bright Beginnings, Inc., a child and family development center that offers a bright start for homeless infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and their families. Bright Beginnings serves families who are living in crisis shelters or transitional housing in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Education

Kimberly received her B.A. in psychology from Hofstra University.
