Kanako Miyoshi serves clients across the technology sector. She is based in Tokyo.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Kanako worked with McKinsey & Company in Japan as a management consultant, where she engaged in strategic planning projects for chemicals and pharmaceutical industries. Prior to that, she was with Coach, Inc. in New York, where she conducted several consumer research projects for business partners in Japan. She began her career at Mitsubishi Corporation, where she was responsible for petrochemical sales and marketing covering the Asian and Middle East markets and later took on additional responsibility as a project manager to set up a joint venture operating company in China.

Kanako received her B.A. in economics from Kyoto University and her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
