Kalpana Denzel

Based in Singapore, Kalpana Denzel conducts leadership assignments across the region's consumer market with a particular focus on consumer products and retail multi-nationals. She works across all commercial functions and is also a member of the regional Human Resources Practice.

Kalpana has led a broad range of assignments for senior executives within the consumer goods, luxury, and retail sectors. She has successfully completed searches for Chief Marketing Officers, Country and Regional Managing Directors, and Regional Marketing Heads.

Previous Experience

Kalpana brings extensive international experience in several industries including consumer goods, higher education, and non-profit, working within Asia, Europe and the U.S. Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Kalpana spent over five years working with the Young Presidents' Organization, a peer network of CEOs, most recently serving as the Director for Member Networks based first in Hong Kong and then Singapore. Previously, she served as the Director of Marketing, Admissions, and Career Services for the IMD MBA Program in Switzerland. She was also in brand management with Procter and Gamble in Germany and Switzerland. Kalpana started her career with Andersen Consulting working in the Washington D.C. and London offices.

Education

Kalpana received her B.S. in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research from Virginia Tech University, and her M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management., where she was an F.C. Austin Scholar.
