Jon Martin

Jon Martin is a core member of the firm's global Industrial/Natural Resources Sector and leads the firm's efforts in this sector in Canada. He also co leads the firm’s Energy/Natural Resources Practice in the Americas. Based in Toronto, he serves both Canadian and international clients in senior-level executive search and executive assessment.

Previous Experience

Jon has more than 15 years of experience in executive search, board search and executive assessment with a focus in the mining/metals, energy, infrastructure and other asset-intensive industries. He also has developed a deep expertise in the functional areas of operations, manufacturing, supply chain and large-scale project management. Before joining the executive search profession, he was a Senior Consultant with Ernst & Young Management Consultants in Toronto. Jon started his business career in the Corporate Development Office of Imasco Ltd. in Montreal.

Education

Jon received his B.A., with honours, from Huron College, The University of Western Ontario and his M.A. in international relations (international economics) from The Johns Hopkins University's Nitze School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS).
