Jens M. Howitz

Jens M. Howitz is the firm's Country Manager for Denmark. Based in Copenhagen, he conducts CEO, senior-level and boardroom assignments for Danish and international clients across the consumer, healthcare and industrial/natural resources sectors.

Recent Client Experience

Jens has extensive executive search experience and has recently conducted assignments for Board Members and Senior Directors for leading international Danish FMCG and healthcare organisations. He has also recently been involved in international General Manager and other senior executive searches for leading global Danish companies in the industrial sector as well as functional searches like HR, CFO and Communications executives within various sectors.

Previous Experience

Before starting his executive search career, Jens spent 15 years in a variety of positions in sales, marketing and general management. For five years, he was the first Managing Director of TV2 Reklame A/S, with responsibility for selling television advertising for the new public commercial television station, TV2, in Denmark. Previous positions have included Marketing Director for a major Danish consumer healthcare company, Marketing Manager at Unilever, responsible for various brands within the personal care and detergents division, and economist at Dansk Esso A/S.

Additional Professional Activities

Jens is a member of the Board for one of Denmark's leading financial and strategic communications consultancies.

Education

Jens received his M.Sc. in economics and business administration from the Copenhagen Business School. He is fluent in Danish and English and is conversant with the Scandinavian languages.
