Jennifer Potter-Brotman is a senior leader in the Human Resources practice and Corporate Officers sector and a member of the Diversity practice. Based in Boston, she focuses on assessing and recruiting CHROs and other senior HR leaders. She has client relationships across a broad spectrum of industries, including financial services, healthcare, technology, industrial, professional services, and not for profit. Her clients include both public and private organizations.
Recent Client Experience
Jennifer has completed more than 80 assignments, 50 of which were in the Human Resources space, for both U.S. and international organizations. Some recent assignments include the recruitment of the CHROs for a Fortune 100 financial services firm, a $1b global manufacturing corporation and a $1b global consumer/manufacturer. Jennifer also identified and placed the Head of Total Rewards for one of the world’s largest stock exchanges, the Vice President of Compensation and Benefits and HR Operations for the largest not-for-profit health insurance company in Massachusetts and the Chief Talent Officer for a U.S.-based Fortune 500 financial services holding company.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds in 2004 Jennifer worked at Humphrey Enterprises, a private equity/venture capital firm, where she served as a principal. Before that, Jennifer was the President and CEO of The Forum Corporation, a leader in corporate training and education. During her 21-year tenure, Jennifer held many key leadership positions, including COO of Forum, CEO of Forum Europe, Head of Forum's core learning business and Executive Vice President, Marketing, Product Development and Strategy. Jennifer began her career in publishing with Little, Brown and Company and has a successful track record leading growing businesses, setting strategic direction and consulting with key clients globally.
Additional Professional Activities
Jennifer is Vice Chairman of The Commonwealth Institute, a nonprofit that helps female CEOs, entrepreneurs and senior corporate executives grow their businesses and careers by providing advisory forums, networking events and educational seminars focusing on key business issues. Jennifer is also former President of the Board of Trustees of Beaver Country Day School.
Jennifer received her B.A. in English literature from the University of New Hampshire and attended the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD.
