Singapore-based businesses can take on a proactive, integrated approach to help shape a vibrant Asean market. By holistically looking at both the business opportunities and the interoperability of their operations across Asean as one ecosystem business can drive significant growth and operational efficiencies as well as foster skills and talent development.

Singapore can act as the orchestrator cum integrator hub - not limited to just strategic planning, financial and legal, but also as both a platform to encourage investments into Asean and attract private equity and hedge funds, and as an incubator hub for tech and healthcare innovation. However, it is vital to understand the regulatory and infrastructure framework in each country to better leverage and position Asean as one.
