Stacey Shapiro is a member of the firm's Leadership and Succession team. She guides boards and chief executive officers in building best-in-class leadership teams and cultures, and helps companies identify, select, and grow leaders who will thrive and succeed over the long term. Her work spans leadership development, talent benchmarking, succession management, executive hiring, culture assessment and M&A. She is based in Atlanta.
Recent Client Experience
Stacey helps companies find and develop talent while mitigating the risk of leadership failure. Her recent work has focused on CEO and executive team succession planning and leadership development across industries including financial services, industrial/ natural resources, consumer, and nonprofit. She assists senior managers and boards in predicting C-Suite success and evaluates candidate fit for senior executive appointments across functions, industries and geographies. She also leads work with high-potential individuals focused on leadership emergence and development. In addition, Stacey advises CEOs and boards around issues related to driving cultural change and facilitating cultural integration in the context of M&A.
Stacey possesses deep experience in personality testing and research. She has consulted with The College Board and presented at numerous professional conferences including the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology. Her work has been published in professional journals such as the Journal of Vocational Behavior and the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied.
Stacey received her B.A. in psychology from the University of Michigan, and her M.S. and Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
