Olivier Blin


Olivier Blin is a member of the firm’s Healthcare Sector. He focuses on leadership assignments at the executive and non-executive levels for privately held and publicly traded firms in the pharma-life sciences and medical technology industries. Olivier has worked on numerous assignments over the past 20 years advising boards, CEOs and senior executives on strategic hiring, succession planning and cultural transformation. Olivier is based in Paris and works globally.

Recent Client Experience


Olivier's recent assignments within the healthcare sector include: working closely with the shareholders of a healthcare instruments company to recruit a new CEO; the recruitment of two Vice-Presidents (a VP R&D and a SVP General-Manager US) for a European cardio-vascular implants company; the recruitment of a VP General Manager for a leading healthcare IT and imaging business; the recruitment a VP General Manager EMEA for a private equity backed US company; the appointment of a Non Executive Director for a leading medical equipment company; and a global talent tracking assignment of senior profiles in the Diabetes market for a leading pharmaceutical company.

Additional Professional Activities


In 2012, Olivier co-founded MedTech-in-France, an association of CEOs whose purpose is to grow the French medical technology industry and foster the development of innovative therapeutic solutions with a global reach.

Previous Experience


Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1996, Olivier worked for another global executive search firm.

Education


Olivier received his B.A. in history from the University of Paris, Nanterre.
