Jorge Gomar serves clients in our Industrial/Natural Resources Sector. He is based in Dallas.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Jorge was a Vice President at AlixPartners, where he led customer and product profitability improvement for a major film, specialty chemical, and commercial printing business that emerged from bankruptcy. He also co-led the divestiture of their non-core businesses. Before that, Jorge spent seven years at A.T. Kearney, most recently as a Senior Manager. Samples of his work include managing a joint venture due-diligence for two leading global chemical companies and leading the process to optimize the PET/Plastic bottling supply chain for one of the world's largest beverage companies. Jorge has advised clients on product/customer portfolio management, profitability improvement, strategic planning, M&As, divestitures, organizational design, lean manufacturing, procurement and supply chain optimization. Jorge has also worked with Pape-Dawson Engineers, Lusardi Construction and started his career as a Project Manager at Lintel Construction.
Jorge received his M.B.A. from the University of Michigan, his M.S. in engineering from the University of Texas at Austin, and his B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso. Jorge is a Registered Professional Engineer.
