Hans Roth


Hans Roth leads the firm’s Industrial Services and Infrastructure Practice, and is a member of the global Industrial and Energy and Natural Resources Sectors. He specializes in C-level assignments and Board advisory, with a predominant focus on the energy industry. Hans serves industrial clients across the globe, and recent significant searches include the CEO for an industrial services company, CEO for a global engineering and construction firm, President for a coal mining operation in Latin America, CEO for multiple PE-backed organizations, and other various other executive roles for public and privately held companies. He is based in Houston.

Previous Experience


Hans joined Russell Reynolds Associates from The Boston Consulting Group, where he partnered with clients to solve complex strategic and operational issues within the energy sector, most specifically Oil & Gas and Mining. Prior to this, he spent his earlier career with Othon, Inc./Parsons Brinckerhoff as a Project Manager/Engineer in construction management. Hans is a registered Professional Engineer.

Education


Hans received his B.S. in civil engineering from Universidad de los Andes in Colombia, his M.Sc. in civil engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg School of Management. A native of Colombia, Hans is fluent in English and Spanish and speaks conversational German.
