Erika Mannion is a member of the firm's Leadership and Succession and Board & CEO Practices. She leads individual and team assessments for clients across a range of industries. Typical situations include succession planning, post-merger integration, private equity/venture capital due diligence and talent development initiatives. Her particular area of focus is succession planning for CEOs and executive teams. Erika is based in San Francisco.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Erika was an Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company in London where she worked in the financial services and industrial sectors as an organizational transformation consultant. She has coached senior management teams through major change initiatives and co-authored a McKinsey Quarterly article, Teams at the Top. Prior to that, Erika was a Second Vice President at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York.
Erika received her M.B.A. in finance from Wharton and her Masters in International Management from The Lauder Institute, both at the University of Pennsylvania. She earned her undergraduate degree in economics at Georgetown University's School of Foreign Service. Erika also holds a Certificate in Psychodynamic Counselling from Birkbeck College, University of London and a Certificate in Executive Coaching from The School of Coaching in London. She has lived and worked in the U.S., the U.K. and Germany.
