Francisco "Paco" Ruiz-Maza

Paco Ruiz-Maza specializes in assignments for leading organizations across the Consumer sector. He is based in Mexico City.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Paco was most recently a Managing Director at Grupo Papelero Scribe, where he was responsible for new business development and foreign trade for their export business as well as negotiating and executing distribution agreements in the U.S. and Canada. Prior to that, he spent nine years with Grupo Modelo, as a Managing Director - International Beers, where he was President and the legal representative of the foreign brands company and responsible for the firm's P&L. Previously, he was the firm's International Markets Senior Manager where he led, developed and implemented Corona Extra international brand strategy. Also, he coordinated Grupo Modelo's six subsidiaries globally. He began his career as a representative to Latin America at Drunpe SL, a privately held Spanish logistics company based in Barcelona, Spain.

Education

Paco received his B.A. in chemical engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and his Executive M.B.A. from Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management.
