Fátima Zorzato

Fátima Zorzato specializes in senior executive search assignments in the technology and telecom industries and also conducts assignments within the Business and Professional Services Practice and CEO/Board Services Sector. Based in São Paulo, she has conducted searches for CEOs, Presidents, General Managers, and Functional Directors in Brazil and Latin America. She has also conducted cross-border searches for global clients.

Recent Client Experience

Fátima's recent assignments include the recruitment of the CEO-Brazil of a global technology player, a Senior Executive Director for a holding company, the CFO of a leading Brazilian telecom company; the General Manager of a leading internet company; and several local and regional heads of Business Development, Operations and HR in the technology and telecom sectors, and also for portfolio companies for one of the biggest Private Equity firms in Brazil.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1997, Fátima established her own recruiting firm after serving as Partner at another Brazilian executive recruiting firm. Previously, she was Human Resources Director of the Machline Group, a Brazilian conglomerate in the consumer and professional electronics sector. Earlier, she held key human resources management positions at Philco, Viação Aérea de São Paulo (VASP) and Lloyds Bank.

Additional Professional Activities

Fatima is a member of the Evaluation Committee at Insper and a member of IBGC Instituto Brasileiro de Governança Corporativa.  

Education

Fatima received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Pontifícia Universidade Católica, and her advanced degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas, both in São Paulo. She is fluent in English and Portuguese.
