Edgar Medinaceli

Edgar Medinaceli is the Area Manager for Russell Reynolds Associates' Buenos Aires office. He serves clients in mining, industrial and financial services sectors across South America. He has completed many local and regional CEO searches, for international and Argentinean companies.

Previous Experience

Edgar has seven years of executive search experience. Previously, he was a partner of Hermes, a regional consulting firm. Prior to that, Edgar was the Commercial Director for Banco Hipotecario, a leading Argentinean bank, where he was part of the team that led its transition from state to private ownership. Earlier, he worked at McKinsey & Co as a consultant. Edgar started his professional life working in sales and operations roles with Siderca, the flagship company of Tenaris.

Education

Edgar received his B.S. in industrial engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin. He is also an invited lecturer on leadership seminars at Universidad Di Tella.
