Deborah Op den Kamp

With an industry background rooted in marketing and mobility, Deborah advises, recruits and helps retain outstanding and impactful leaders for Fortune 500 and venture capital and private equity-backed companies across the Consumer Internet space. She is a member of the Digital Transformation practice, helping companies find leaders who can guide them in their digital evolution. From Mobile Gaming to E-Commerce to the emerging world of Education Technology, Deborah helps companies find digital leaders to help transform their businesses. She is based in San Francisco. Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Deborah spent thirteen years with J. Walter Thompson (JWT), most recently as Global Business Director in London working with Nokia and HSBC. For Nokia, she created the annual business plan and managed a global network of more than 300 people. She also led the local marketing programs for Nokia's phone portfolio, services and online app store-using experimental, digital, retail, direct and mobile marketing to drive sales. With HSBC, Deborah developed a new brand strategy for the private bank arm of HSBC. Earlier with JWT, she was the Worldwide Account Director developing the global brand strategy for De Beers.

Education

Deborah received her B.A. in American studies from Cornell University and her M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
