David Mills

David leads the firm's global Technology Sector. Based in London, he focuses on search and assessment assignments for high-tech and communications companies. David leads several key client relationships for the firm and has completed numerous high-profile searches for Board/ CEO, COO, CMO and CTO roles in both public and private corporations. David was previously Country Manager for the firm's U.K. business.

Recent Client Experience

David has considerable experience in advising clients on senior-level appointments and has deep domain expertise in the Global Mobile market. Recent notable projects include helping operators and telecom services businesses address new talent needs in the digital and enterprise solutions markets, as well as finding outstanding candidates for Board/CEO, business unit head and CMO roles. He has also conducted senior executive assessment and benchmarking projects for clients to help them identify experience and skills gaps within existing teams and analyse whether they have the right leadership team to help them meet their strategic objectives. David is also working with clients on diversity related projects.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1997, David worked in Product Management and Programme Management for leading wireless operators, including roles with Hutchison Telecom and T-Mobile.

Education

David received his B.Sc. in economics and business finance from Brunel University of West London.
