David Hughes

Based in Hong Kong, David Hughes works with law firms and corporate organizations within the Asia/Pacific region across all major industry sectors to identify partners, general counsel, senior compliance, risk, regulatory and public policy executives. A significant part of David’s experience includes working with professional services firms, providing counsel regarding the recruitment of partners and senior executives, particularly in the legal, accounting and other professional advisory sectors.

Recent assignments include identifying senior executives for major global manufacturers, financial services firms, alternative investment firms, consumer businesses and technology companies.

Previous Experience

David has 11 years of executive search experience advising clients in both the corporate and professional services sectors. He specializes in assignments for functional roles surrounding legal, risk, compliance and government affairs issues. Most recently, David was a partner at another leading executive search firm in Asia, and previously he co-founded a boutique search firm in London.

Education

David received his B.A., with honors, in English from Manchester Metropolitan University, U.K.
