Tory Clark co-leads the firm’s Development, Advocacy, and Philanthropy Practice. Tory leads high-profile executive searches for social impact organizations across climate and environment, economic development, civil and human rights, advocacy, education access, and arts.

She specializes in working with board search committees and senior management to optimize the succession planning for critical leadership positions. She advises organizations on governance and board effectiveness through times of transformation, culture change, and succession. In addition, Tory has extensive experience advising new philanthropists on building optimal leadership teams and established philanthropies enhancing their organizational effectiveness and strengthening their leadership teams.

Before joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Tory was Vice Consul and Investment Officer for the United Kingdom's Department of International Trade. There she consulted with leadership teams at US-based companies on their international expansion strategies and closely supported those planning to enter or expand within the UK market. She previously helped to stand up a successful nonprofit, the World Trade Center Savannah, focused on advancing economic development through international trade and investment.

Tory attended Kenyon College, where she earned her BA in international studies with a concentration in political science. Following graduation, she received a Fulbright Scholarship to work and study in Kastamonu, Turkey, and a US Department of State Critical Language Scholarship to study at Izmir University of Economics in Turkey.
