Mauro Gimenez

Mauro Gimenez leads the firm’s Global Energy and Natural Resources Practice, covering all services to our clients in the Power & Utilities and Oil & Gas industries as well as spearheading Russell Reynolds Associates’ cross-functional efforts in Energy Transition.  He is also a member of the firm’s Board & CEO Advisory Practice. Mauro has experience conducting Board, CEO and C-suite succession planning and searches as well as transformational leadership, DE&I, culture and top team effectiveness advisory projects for both public and privately held companies. He is based in Houston.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Mauro was an Associate Partner with McKinsey & Company. In this role, he worked across the energy value chain helping clients develop growth strategies, manage large capital projects and achieve operational improvements. Previously, Mauro held business planning and commercial leadership roles at a global energy company.
