JP Cantos

Based in Atlanta, JP is a leader within our technology sector work, specializing in digital infrastructure and technology, media, and telecommunications, and working across industries to support clients’ technology and IT officer needs.

His recent assignments include CEOs, CMOs, CROs, and COOs of PE-backed fiber infrastructure and service providers, CTOs and CEOs of media technology companies, and CHROs and CDO/CIOs of Fortune 500 providers of internet, TV, and phone services.

JP's career has taken him around the world and developed his deep leadership perspective and cultural awareness. He joined Russell Reynolds Associates from Samsung Electronics in Seoul, where he was Senior Manager and Project Leader in the Global Strategy Group under the Chairman's Office. In this role, he was responsible for leading several strategic project teams and for designing new product concepts. Previously, JP was Senior Consultant and Team Leader at L.E.K. Consulting, where he partnered with C-level executives to deliver pivotal strategic recommendations. He also held roles in corporate strategy and sales management at Citigroup and SmartFocus. He began his career in sales and marketing at Michael Page.
