Based in New York, John conducts a broad range of senior executive and board searches across the financial services industry. John also works with clients across sectors on senior risk management roles. He is a senior member of the firm's CEO/Board Services Practice and leads the Corporate Security Officers Practice.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates in 1988, John spent five years in banking at NatWest USA in the Media Group. After college, John signed a professional football contract with the New York Jets and went on to play two seasons for the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

John is a Fellow of Timothy Dwight College, Yale University. He is the Chairman of the Yale Alumni Schools Committee for Greenwich. John is the President of the Greenwich Old Timers Athletic Association, a nonprofit organization started over 50 years ago to support youth sports and provide college scholarships for local high school students.
John received his B.A. from Yale University. He also attended Harvard Business School's Executive Education Program.
