Based in Palo Alto, Jaime Massar focuses on senior-level legal officer searches for clients across high-growth industries and at companies undergoing significant transformation. She has worked with public and private companies, as well as start-ups, and specializes in recruiting General Counsel and other executive-level legal officers, as well as Chief Human Resources Officers. Jaime’s recent projects include searches for General Counsels, Chief Intellectual Property Officers, Chief Privacy Officers and Chief Human Resources Officers for biotech and technology companies.
Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Jaime worked for the Honorable Suzanne H. Segal, Chief Magistrate Judge, Central District California. She also summered at a Los Angeles-based civil litigation firm, working primarily in white collar criminal defense and employment litigation. Before attending law school, Jaime worked in the litigation headquarters for the California Department of Transportation.
Jaime holds a B.A. in History from Davidson College and a J.D. from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and is the author of “The Taco Truck Rush: Regulating the Commons in Boom Times”, an examination of government response to private enterprise on publicly held land.
