Erin Zolna is a member of the firm’s Leadership and Succession team. She designs and leads assessment programs that contribute to effective hiring decisions, executive team benchmarking, succession management, leadership development, and mergers/acquisitions integration. In addition to these advisory services, Erin has played a leading role in the development of Russell Reynolds Associates' service offerings, such as cultural assessment/diagnosis, the measurement of executive fit to a given organizational culture, and more insightful board evaluation. Erin is based in New York.
Recent Client Experience
Erin's recent engagements have focused on succession planning for organizations across sectors, ranging from an international securities firm to multiple energy companies. She leads considerable work within the Healthcare Sector, advising boards on CEO succession and developing high-potential healthcare talent. She also helps CEOs to better understand their organizational cultures, gaps and unique dynamics in order to create cultures that support their strategic goals. In addition, Erin partners with colleagues in the Private Equity Practice to conduct management team assessments, and is currently leading a CEO succession planning engagement focused on developing talent within an investment team.
Additional Professional Activities
Erin has been active in developing new insights in the areas of team dynamics and personality. She has written and lectured on various talent management and assessment topics. Erin was also a key contributor to the firm's research paper on boardroom dynamics, Different Is Better: Why Diversity Matters in the Boardroom.
Erin holds a B.S. in psychology from Tulane University as well as an M.S. and a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from Georgia Tech.
