Bennett Hanig works with boards and CEOs across industries on CEO and C-suite succession planning, CEO role integration, talent benchmarking and talent development. Based in New York, Bennett works with a broad range of companies including those in the financial services, global industrial, consumer products, life sciences and technology sectors. He provides advisory services that focus on mission-critical leadership issues by leveraging his 25 years of CEO-level experience and a highly customized, client-centric approach.

Bennett was the chief talent officer for International Flavors & Fragrances before joining Russell Reynolds Associates. Before taking on that role, Bennett was a senior partner and region head at a large consulting company, where he focused on succession planning and executive development. Earlier in his career, he was a senior consultant at an organizational psychology consulting firm providing similar services.

Bennett received his MPhil, MS and PhD degrees in psychology from Columbia University and his BA, with honors, from the State University of New York at New Paltz.
Bennett is a licensed psychologist.
