Charlie Liu

Based in Shanghai, Charlie Liu covers the Industrial and Natural Resources Sector, focusing on Chemical and Process Industries, Agribusiness and Capital Electrical Equipment.

Previous Experience

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Charlie worked as Regional Business Manger for Honeywell in the Asia/Pacific region, where he was responsible for regional strategy creation, partnership formation and revenue growth.  Previously, he worked as Senior Business Development Manager for Dow Chemical Company and led the New Business Development programs in Asia/Pacific, based in Taiwan.  Earlier in his career he co-founded Changsha BoHua Technology, an internet security software start-up company.  Charlie began his career in the telecommunications industry, as Market Specialist at Nortel Networks in China, and Program and Marketing Manager at Motorola in the United States.

Charlie is a Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) and a member of the Project Management Institute of America.

Education

Charlie received his Master of Engineering Management from the McCormick School of Northwestern University, his M.B.A from Liautaud Graduate School of Business, University of Illinois at Chicago in the United States, and his Bachelor's degree in telecommunication engineering from the Beijing Union University in China.  He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
