Paul H.L. Chou
Paul Hsun-Ling Chou is a member of the firm’s Not-for-Profit Sector, focusing on searches in the Education, and the Culture, Conservation and Foundations Practices. Based in Washington, D.C., he specializes in assignments for presidents, vice-presidents/provosts, deans and other senior leaders for colleges and universities, and for executive-level administrators for a variety of cultural institutions.

Previous Experience
Paul is an accomplished professional violinist and conductor who, prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, occupied the Ronald J. Ulrich Endowed Chair of Orchestral Studies in the Department of Music at Lehigh University. In addition to his academic experience, Paul served as a Development Officer in Lehigh’s Office of Advancement, where he focused on corporate/foundation relations and major donor cultivation. Prior to his academic career, Paul worked for over a decade as a  Senior Systems Consultant at PaineWebber, as Assistant Director of Information Systems at Balfour Maclaine Corporation, and as a Software Engineer at Fonar Corporation.

Additional Professional Activities
Formally trained as a classical musician, Paul has been featured in numerous international venues as a violin soloist, conductor, chamber musician and lecturer. He has served on committees for the National Endowment for the Arts and Lehigh Valley Arts Council.

Education
Paul received his B.Mus., with high distinction, from Indiana University-Bloomington and his M.Mus. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
